The latest world rankings have been released and we have great news for all Lam Fans! By virtue of his strong play in January, Chris is now ranked a career-best of 657 in the world for singles, a jump of 64 spots from his ranking of 721 on January 15. Among Americans, Chris is now ranked 58, which is also the best mark of his career. In doubles, Chris' world ranking is 684, with his American ranking rising to a career-high of 62.

In second-round singles action at the $50,000 Hilton Waikoloa Village Challenger in Hawaii, Chris lost to Sergiy Stakhovsky (UKR) in two tough competitive sets, with Stakhovsky prevailing 6-4, 6-3. The difference in the match came down to a few key points in each set and Stakhovsky, ranked 207 in the world, was able to come up with the shots necessary to secure the win.
