In qualifying action at the $50,000 Countrywide USTA Challenger (Carson, CA), Peter Polansky of Canada defeated Chris in two tough sets 6-3, 6-4.  Polansky, seeded #3, was able to take advantage of his break point opportunities in both sets and that spelled the difference in the match.  Chris next treks to the Sacramento area for the $50,000 Yuba City Challenger where he will begin first-round qualifying play on June 2nd.  When Chris' first-round opponent and time are known, we will bring it to you.
